Monster Wash
Name a price, then wash the car. Dirtier ones pay more!
What the kid is doing
Name a price, run the car through the wash, and finish any spots the machines miss.
How to play
- Set your price: When a dirty car pulls up, pick a price on the big board. Dirtier cars are willing to pay more, but be careful! If you charge too much, the driver might speed off to find a cheaper wash.
- Run the tunnel: Watch the car roll through the soap, brushes, rinse, and dryer to knock off the worst of the grime.
- Finish the job: If the machines miss a spot, your monster walks over to finish it by hand. Choose the right tool for the mess:
- Power washer for thick mud
- Sponge for gooey slime
- Squeegee for window streaks
- Towel for leftover drips
- Grabber for stuck leaves
- Tip: Turn the iPad sideways so you can watch the entire wash tunnel!
Where the speech practice fits
Prompt cards never open on their own. The therapist taps Targets on the right rail whenever they want one, and the card deals that student's target words, each with its own picture, at word, phrase, or sentence level. Browse the free word lists to see the decks.
